The modulating gas valve is self-calibrating and auto-configures for each installation. It features a durable silicon nitride igniter and a quiet variable-speed induced draft blower. The system utilizes ComfortNet™ communicating, two-stage, or single-stage thermostats. The furnace control board has a self-diagnostic feature with constant memory fault code history output to a dual 7-segment display.
There are color-coded low voltage terminals with provisions for an electronic air cleaner and humidifier. The variable-speed airflow system is efficient and quiet, ramping up or down based on heating or cooling demand. Multiple continuous fan speed options are available for quiet air circulation. Auto-Comfort and enhanced dehumidification modes are also included.
The system is designed for multi-position installation: upflow, horizontal left or right. It is certified for direct vent (2 pipe) or non-direct vent (1 pipe) installation. Top venting is easy to install with optional side venting. Gas and electrical service connections can be made on the convenient left or right side.
The cabinet air leakage is only 2% and made of heavy-gauge steel with a durable finish. The heat exchanger and blower section are fully insulated. The airtight solid bottom or side return has easy cut tabs for effortless removal in bottom air inlet applications.
