Key features of the furnace include a Silicon nitride ignitor, insulated heat exchanger and blower section, self-diagnostics control board, quiet induced draft blower, and left or right gas/electrical connections. The specifications of the GM9S80 Series Gas Furnace include a Model: GM9S80 Series, Input of 40,000 BTU, Output of 32,000 BTU, and optional LP Kit Model: LPT-03. It also requires metal vent piping for safe venting.

It's important to note that due to ultra-low NOx regulations, this furnace is not available for shipping or installation in many California counties. However, it comes with a Lifetime Heat Exchanger, 10-Year Unit Replacement, and 10-Year Parts Warranty when registered online at no charge.

With an 80% AFUE rating, 80 cents of each fuel dollar goes towards heating your home, while 20 cents are lost as exhaust. While it ships ready for natural gas, it can be converted to liquid propane with an LP conversion kit. The furnace is built for durability with an aluminized-steel dual-diameter tubular heat exchanger and high-quality internal components housed in a heavy-gauge steel cabinet.
